1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is the provider named in the Impressum.

2. What this app does

CrushCheck AI is an entertainment app. Users can upload chat screenshots, answer questionnaire items and receive an automated red flag analysis as well as an optional premium deep analysis.

3. Processed data

The following data can be processed depending on how you use the app:

• answers you enter in the questionnaire,
• chat screenshots that you upload,
• text and structured information extracted or analyzed from those screenshots,
• technical connection and server log data,
• payment-related data if you purchase the premium analysis,
• usage data required to operate and protect the service.

4. Uploaded screenshots

Uploaded screenshots are first stored locally in your browser so the app can continue the flow between upload, questionnaire and result screen.

When you start the analysis, screenshots may be compressed and then transmitted to external AI services to generate the requested result. Screenshots that remain too large after compression are skipped and are not sent to the AI.

Please only upload screenshots if you have the permission of all participants and if you have removed or censored unnecessary private information such as names, phone numbers or addresses.

5. AI processing

To generate the free and premium analysis, the app sends selected inputs to OpenAI. Depending on the feature used, this may include questionnaire answers, compressed screenshots and derived chat information.

The AI responses are used only to provide the requested analysis result. Token usage and certain technical metadata may be logged on the server for operation, debugging and cost control.

6. Payments

Premium payments are processed via Stripe. Payment data is processed by Stripe under Stripe's own responsibility. The app itself does not store full card details.

7. Hosting and technical logs

The website is hosted on Vercel. During use of the site, technically necessary server and request data may be processed by the hosting provider in order to deliver, secure and maintain the service.

8. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed in particular for the following purposes:

• providing the requested analysis features,
• processing premium purchases,
• operating, securing and improving the website,
• detecting errors and monitoring usage costs.

Depending on the specific processing step, the legal basis is typically the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, your consent, or legitimate interests in the secure and efficient operation of the service.

9. Storage duration

Local browser data remains on your device until it is overwritten, removed by the app flow, or deleted by you. Server-side logs and technical data are stored only as long as necessary for operation, debugging, abuse prevention and legal obligations.

10. Recipients

Data may be disclosed to service providers involved in operating the app, especially:

• Vercel for hosting and delivery,
• OpenAI for AI-based analysis,
• Stripe for payment processing.

Under applicable data protection law, you may have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw any consent you have given with future effect.
